Got a call with no one talking on the other end at about 8:20 this morning! Guess we dodged a bullet and didn’t have to deal with any of those fraudsters - already blocked the number.

Some bloke rang me claiming to be from Microsoft, saying there was an issue with my PC.

This bloke was really pushy. When I told him I didn’t have a computer, he actually accused me of lying! Then he said he’d call back whenever he felt like it. Honestly, it’s quite worrying how they keep hassling older folks, especially those who might struggle with memory or just can’t handle this sort of thing. Proper aggressive guy.

Phone started going to voicemail as soon as I picked up so I just hung up. Blocked the number now.

Just like others have said, this bloke with a strange accent claimed he was calling from Microsoft. I wanted to know if he was calling from America or here in the UK. He said he was based in the UK. When I asked for his phone number, he refused saying it wasn’t allowed. I told him to bugger off and then blocked the (USA) number on my phone.

This bloke rang me claiming to be from the "Microsoft Tech Support" (seriously, do they have a department for anything else?). When I called them out as scammers, you could tell they got pretty irked. I threw a few proper tech questions at them, and they soon gave up and hung up. They follow some sort of fake troubleshooting routine - I let it run once just to see what’s up - and it “finds” all these so-called issues that aren’t real at all. Looks like it's just a trick to get folk to play along.

Got a call at 8.15 in the morning from someone claiming to be a Microsoft tech, trying to mess with my computer. Seemed a bit dodgy and not very professional. I mentioned I was using a Mac, but he didn’t believe me. Eventually, we ended the call on good terms.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be a Microsoft tech, saying my computer was downloading way too much stuff. He told me he was ringing from London or somewhere. Bit fishy if you ask me.
