So I got this call that started with a voicemail saying it was from BT, warning me that my broadband and phone line would be cut off due to some dodgy activity. Then, a guy got on the line saying I had to pay so they could remotely fix my computer and stop whatever suspicious stuff was going on. If I didn’t, he said I'd lose my service and be on the hook for everything. Such a typical scam!
