Somebody called me from 003157158504 and said their name was Jay shaw, but I’m pretty sure that’s not his actual name. What a pain! 🤬🤬🤬

Got a call on 12th September 2022 around 3pm from someone claiming I’d won £200,000 in an American lottery - total scam, obviously.

I kept getting calls from this bloke with an Indian accent, telling me I’d won £500k and to get in touch with London Associates on 033330344 to collect my prize. They said London Associates were solicitors who'd provide me with a certificate proving my winnings, unrelated to any dodgy money laundering stuff. The guy kept ringing over and over, insisting I had won the half a million. The American number he used was 0019147522070, but it just went dead after about three days.

Give 0013157917400 a go. They left me a message about winning 2nd prize with code 50586. Said it’s £150,000 or something like that??

Absolutely dodgy US Lottery Centre! Don't fall for it, total con job!

Got back from the shops and found a voicemail from some US lottery place claiming I’d bagged £500,000 - yeah, right! They said I could give my “prize” away to any charity I wanted, must be some robot behind it. Seems like they're now calling from 0016467400055 or something.

On 13 Jan, got a call from something called the US Lottery Centre claiming I’d bagged 2nd prize of £500,000. They wanted me to ring 001 347 669 back. Bit dodgy really cos I was actually in the States when they rang! Sounds like one of those scams to me, especially as I don’t even play lotteries. No way I’m calling them, and honestly, I hope if it’s real, they give the money to some good charity instead!

I got a voicemail from 0013476699085 claiming I’d won £500,000 in some US lottery. They said it was the 2nd prize and urged me to ring a number in the US. Seemed way too fishy to be real. Turns out, it’s definitely a scam!

Got flagged as sketchy from what I've read before. Despite that, this number called my mum today, who’s quite old. Seems like it’s still out there ringing people.

Got a call about some US lottery win, looked dodgy. Tried ringing back using the return call button and also dialled the number myself, both ended up charging me a lot more than usual. Watch out, it’s definitely a premium rate scam.

Got a call from the U.S Lotto Centre claiming I’d bagged the 2nd prize. They gave me a ticket number and asked to confirm it was mine. Sounded exactly like the other stories here - big winnings and a phone number to ring back. Definitely felt fishy to me.

They never gave me a proper website, just some fake like [#]uslotterycenter[###]. I asked for it but got nothing real. They said I had winnings but I’d have to go all the way from the UK to the US to pick it up. Total con. Definitely don’t share any of your info with these lot!

Dodgy call from some US lottery, telling me I won 100,000 on ticket number 05789. It was some automated voice saying to ring this number 0013477728941. Definitely a scam, best to ignore it!

Got a voicemail from some supposed US house lottery, claiming I'd won £100,000 on ticket number 05789. They left a number to ring back on, 0013477728941. Totally a scam, so don’t bother calling them and just block the number if they ring you.

Got a call from the US about winning second prize - £125,000 in some monthly free house raffle or something, with a lottery ticket 05789. They asked me to call back on 0013477728941. Pretty sure it’s a total scam, so don’t even think about ringing that number!

Got a voicemail from someone claiming they were from the US lottery centre saying I’d won second prize of £120,000. Bit strange they mentioned pounds instead of dollars for a US lottery win. They left a number to ring back, it was 0013477728941, said I needed to call to claim my prize. Seemed pretty dodgy to me.

I received a call earlier today, and there was a recorded message left on my answering machine urging me to return the call to claim what they described as a rather substantial win. They provided a ticket number for me to reference when I phoned back to supposedly collect my winnings. Quite baffling, to say the least!

Woke up to a call at 5.20 in the morning! Got told I won second prize or something, but I gave them a fake number to avoid any follow-ups. No way I’m ringing back!

Got a call from this number at 4 in the morning! It was some sort of automated message, but honestly, there’s no way I was gonna listen to it that early. Definitely left a bad impression on me.

got a call today, sometime in october 2017, from an automated voice saying i’d won second place in some lottery. i never join any lotteries outside the UK, so it’s clearly dodgy. they said to press 1 to claim or 2 to hang up. i reckon if you press 2, you still get hit with some expensive charges.
