The message said I hadn’t applied for the Winter Heating Allowance 2024-2025 and needed to apply by 9 March 2025 to get £300. It even had a dodgy link: https://bit.ly/43vhlrT?s=n&u=e&c=w?RcU=Wo8Je2. What’s odd is that a couple of weeks back, they sent the same message with a 19th February deadline! Definitely a phishing attempt trying to grab personal info or cash.
