I got two calls from them. The first time I answered with a hello, but there was no reply and they just ended the call. Then they called back a bit later, I answered but they dropped the call immediately. I’ve blocked the number now.

This morning I got a call from someone claiming to be from the telephone preference service. He actually knew my name but I wasn’t going to confirm it. When I asked who he was, he gave some Christian name. He asked me something then, I just said, “Just send any info by post, thanks” and hung up.

i got a call from someone who said they were with the telephone preference service and offered to add my number to a list that stops annoying overseas calls. they said it wouldn’t cost a thing. they knew my name right away but when i asked them to verify my info it didn’t feel right, so i just hung up. later, i contacted the real telephone preference service and they told me it was a scam call.

BEWARE: Just received a dubious call from this number. They disconnected without saying a word and didn’t leave a voicemail. When I attempted to return the call, a voice message informed me it was GoDaddy, my web domain provider. It prompted me to press 1 if I was returning a call, which I did. To my dismay, they insisted I provide the last eight digits of my credit card to assist me further. At that point, I swiftly ended the call! Stay vigilant!

I keep receiving phone calls day after day. I've taken to allowing them to go to my voicemail since they tend to disconnect without saying a word.

We received a call at our store from someone claiming our internet was not functioning. While we were right there at the computer, they abruptly hung up. How odd!
