Got a call from a bloke with a really strong Indian accent who claimed he was from Britain when I asked if he was ringing from a call centre in India or Pakistan. He was quite cheeky and kept hassling me, asking if I was some sort of magician when he started going on about my computer being seriously messed up. Proper rude, that one.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the “Microsoft support centre” and they had that typical Indian accent. They kept insisting I had a virus on my computer and swore they were telling the truth, but when I asked for my email address to prove it, they couldn’t say it. Obviously felt dodgy.

I tried ringing this number again, and it turns out it belongs to Anglia Windows. Quite amusing that they didn't pick up my call directly!

Every single day, without fail, this number pings my phone around the clock - either at four o'clock in the afternoon or midnight. They always ask for a Mrs Vera, but when I inform them that they've dialled the wrong number, they go on to enquire if I'm the homeowner. I've let them know they're contravening the law, since I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and I've hung up on them. To my irritation, they had the audacity to ring me again just five minutes later! I'm absolutely fed up with this incessant bother from the same caller.

This morning, I got a call from a friendly sounding woman asking if I'd got my £500 voucher yet. I told her I hadn’t and asked what it was about and who she was. She claimed they were doing a local promotion and everyone nearby was getting a £500 voucher for home repairs. I told her she was trying to scam me and that I’d report her to the police if she didn’t hang up - then she cut the call.
