They kept ringing the same number twice every day at the exact same time. I wasn’t home and my voicemail was just beeping with no messages recorded. I then dialled 1471 to see who it was and got this number. Big thanks to all the people who commented here, really helped. I’m just going to keep ignoring it now.

Got a call from BT's Call Guardian at first, and thankfully, it stopped it right away. I’ve since added the number to my blocked list, all thanks to this website. Cheers for that!

Had a call from some so-called "Windows" scammers earlier. I ended up telling this young bloke, who sounded Asian, to find himself a real job. Maybe I should have mentioned I’d just had my windows washed today!

Got a call from a woman speaking with an Asian accent claiming to be from Windows, saying my computer was sending out error messages. This number has called twice now, both times around 3pm. When my husband asked if it would cost anything, she mentioned a 'one-time fee', so he ended the call. Today, I just hung up straight away.

Someone said it was Microsoft on the phone... I just quickly told them nope thanks and hung up straight away.

Lately, I've had a few calls popping up from this number. Each time, my screen just said 'International'. The earliest I noticed was just after 5pm on 14th July 2015, then again around 6pm the next day, and once more at about 10 in the morning on the 18th. There was also an unknown 'International' call earlier on the 14th at 5.01pm but no number showed there either. Pretty sure it’s all the same person ringing. I didn’t pick up any of them.

i got a call from someone calling themselves the "TECH GUYS", said they were from microsoft and wanted me to check an event log on my computer. they'd say my pc was sending them error alerts or something. when they asked me to log in, i asked which device since this is a workplace and i have a few computers. they seemed caught off guard that i had more than one, which made me suspicious. then when i asked them how exactly my computer sent those messages, they just hung up. suposedly “tech support” but sounded dodgy to me.

Got a couple of rings from this number in just a few hours but no voicemail left. I reckon I’m just gonna block it.

Got a call claiming to be from Windows, they told me to get on my computer. I just asked where they were calling from and then they ended the call straight away.

So, today I got a call from this number. I didn’t answer, but I did notice that my phone showed it was coming from abroad.

Got a call on my landline from a guy with an Asian accent talking about some problem with Windows on my PC. He said he wanted me to be at the computer so he could help me fix it step by step. I told him I wasn’t near my computer, and when he said he’d ring back later, I just hung up straight away.

I just had another call from those blokes, and they bluntly told us to shove it! Who on earth are these Indian chaps? It’s unbelievable how they manage to leave such a poor impression. They really ought to work on their friendliness!
