Got a couple of calls from someone claiming to be Shane Howard from Talk Talk on this number - 001325244759. It’s the same scam from a few months back - they said my router wasn’t syncing right and tried to get me to install dodgy software. Really don’t get why fraud cops haven’t taken this number off the air yet? They didn’t even bother to hide their number and somehow they’ve got my full name and address. It’s so annoying and creepy.

This was a dodgy call, I reckon they were tryin to get into my computer or something fishy like that. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

We’ve had this guy with an Asian accent ringing since Tuesday, even after I told him yesterday we’re not with TalkTalk. He just called again a little while ago. When my husband brought up the telephone preference service, the bloke swore at him and told him to get lost. Fingers crossed he stops calling us now!

Like a few others mentioned, they said they were with TalkTalk and told me my computer was infected with spyware because my router wasn’t compatible. Since my router is actually from TalkTalk, I just ended the call straight away.

They call me around four times each day. I usually just leave it ringing or don't pick up at all.

I can’t stand these calls! Every time I answer, there’s no one there, just weird sounds in the background. They ring me up about four times a day, totally at random hours. After reading what others said, I’m just ignoring them from now on.

This morning at 8.24, I got a call from a bloke with a really thick Asian accent claiming he worked for TalkTalk and that there was an issue with my router. I told him I was about to leave but he insisted it was urgent. I just ended the call. Glad I checked the reviews here first though. The same number rang me last week as well, I just let it go to voicemail.

I got several calls from this damn number 00185989561 a day ago and now they’re back again! They claim to be from TalkTalk but talk like they’re from somewhere else, using fake western names with thick Asian accents. Honestly, it makes me wonder if their families even realise what kinda stuff they’re involved in. I’ve already reported them to TalkTalk and also rang up the Action Fraud folks at 03001232040. PLEASE, don’t even bother talking to these people or share any personal stuff with them...

BE CAREFUL DO NOT ANSWER I got a call from someone claiming to be from TALKTALK but it was a total scam. They tried to convince me to install some legit-looking software, but it’s so they can take control of your computer from miles away. They can then steal your bank details, passwords, and more. Don’t fall for it!

I've received a couple of calls from someone claiming to be affiliated with Speak Talk. Be wary, as they're quite persuasive. Whatever you do, don’t switch on your computer - it's all a ruse!
