Got these dodgy calls from some call centre in Asia. First, they say it’s “BT disconnect” or something, then they ring back pretending to be Microsoft engineers saying they’ll fix your computer from bugs. Best thing is just to ignore, block, and forget about them.

Got a recorded message with an American accent warning that BT would disconnect my service unless I pressed 1 or 2. Obviously sounds dodgy, and could be risky if someone actually went along with it. After hearing it a bunch of times, I just tune it out. Now I usually mess around with the follow-up calls from Indian call centre folks who often try the Microsoft scam after the original message. Always the same nonsense!

I got a call with a recorded message saying something like “this is BT internet department” then it just cut off. Sounded like they were about to talk about my service or something. Pretty weird and not very clear at all.

Got a call from a number starting 001 (US), but as soon as I answered, they just hung up. Been getting a few of these, all saying something about my BT internet being cut off. Feels like a scam to me.

Got a ring from this number around 8:30 this morning. Didn't leave any message, which was quite annoying!
