Some bloke rang claiming he was from a blocking service that supposedly stops scam calls from coming through. He told me it's some kind of free service I already got but just needs an update. Then he asked for my ID number, saying I'd find it on my bank statement next to my direct debit for the phone bill. He seemed proper convincing at first, but as soon as I said I'd ring him later, he started hesitating and bumbling his words.
