If you ain't even signed up, how come they say you won cash? This smells like a total con, honestly. Best not to give them a ring again.

I got a call saying I won £12500 in a US lottery I never even joined up for. Definitely a scam, so watch out!

So, I got a call from some American lottery, or at least that's what they claimed. It was one of those automated voices saying I'd won £125,000 and to ring them back to get the cash. Definitely a load of rubbish if you ask me, total scam no doubt about it.

Clearly, this is just another scam. Anyone who pauses for a moment to think will realise it’s a con. What’s really worrying is how many folks might fall for it and ring that US number. Phone companies could easily put a stop to these automated calls if they chose to. Instead of lining their shareholders’ pockets, they should invest in tech to block these scams before they harm more vulnerable people.

last night my voicemail had a message about winning £125,000 with a claim reference number. I didn’t bother calling back since i never signed up for any lottery. Usually, if you ring those numbers, they ask for some kind of tax payment first, then vanish with your cash, and you never get the prize they promised.

Got a call from some US lottery folks saying I’ve won £125k. They wanted me to call back to claim, but I’d steer clear of that number. Looks dodgy to me.
