I've received numerous calls from this particular area code recently, and I've chosen to let them ring through to my answering machine. The most recent one came in today, 6th November 2021, and it was rather cheeky - purporting to be from Amazon, instructing me to renew my subscription and to press 1 to proceed or 2 for questions. Frankly, much like the others who have commented here, I don't have any connections with Amazon whatsoever.

Got a call on 11th June 2021 at around 10:27am from an unknown number. I ignored it and let it ring through to the answering machine. The message was from a digital voice, saying something about renewing a subscription for 99p, and to press 1 to accept or 2 to get more info. No actual details about what the subscription was for. Didn’t press anything, just blocked the number straight away. The voice was a woman with a clear English accent. Best to steer clear of this one.
