I was just looking to fix my car, and the other person’s insurance actually gave me some cash, saying it wasn’t really worth fixing. But I ended up repairing it myself and now it’s alright. However, after that, I started getting calls from lawyers telling me I could make a claim because apparently, if you’ve been in an accident going over 5mph and the repair costs are above £500, you’re entitled to compensation for things like discomfort or minor injuries. Bit unexpected, really!7 yearsGot a call from a guy with an Indian accent, said I'd been in a car crash. Told him no, then he went on to say it was one of my relatives instead. I told him neither of us had, called him a scammer and a muppet, then he just cut the call. What a joke!7 yearsGot a call earlier from some automated voice asking about a crash i supposedly was in where i got hurt. I hung up straight away, but it’s obviously some dodgy scam from a fake accident claims company. Be careful if you get a call from this number!
