11 yearsGot a call from a bloke speaking with a thick Indian accent, he said he was from Windows and wanted to fix a problem my computer was supposedly having. Said something about a report from my PC itself. Told me it sounded dodgy and I just ended the call straight away. Total con if you ask me.11 yearsPretty sure this is just another scam, like the one mentioned before.11 yearsGot a call from a guy who said he was from the "Windows Tech Team" - sounded like he was Indian. He told me my computer had some kind of security issue. I asked him if I could have a number to ring back when I had time, but he wouldn't give one unless I told him who I was first! Oddly, he assumed I was my dead dad, which is just bizarre. I don't have Caller ID anyway. I just let him go on and on, probably wasting his airtime, then told him straight up I knew it was a common scam. He argued a bit then hung up. Seriously, don’t let these lot get into your PC!DavidWindows Technical Department11 yearsI’ve been getting calls from this number non stop all week, sometimes even a couple times a day. Today I finally picked up and it was a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from Windows Security. He said there was a problem with my computer. I’ve had calls like this before and I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam.Windows SecuritySubmit Your Own Report (302533527)
