It really winds me up.7 yearsgot a call from an automated voice claiming to be from bt’s tech team, saying my internet was about to be disconnected. i knew it was dodgy but was intrigued anyway. when i pressed 1, a woman answered and used my name and address, saying i had to boost my security to avoid being hacked. i asked her for proof she was really from bt. she knew some info that’s easy to find online but then said i had to speak to her manager. that never happened. classic scam really. i bet someone less careful might fall for it and hand over their card info.BTSubmit Your Own Report (296433329)
