Someone called saying they were from Caernarfon police, asking if I knew a particular individual because they’d found a lost wallet linked to him. I told them I did and would relay the message. They gave me the phone number 01286670679 and said the desk officer was called MariAnn. However, when the guy’s dad phoned that number, they denied the name I was told and instead used my own surname!
