Just like a few others mentioned, they claimed they were from BT and threatened to disconnect my line. They tried to get me to go onto a device and explained how to 'upgrade' my connection to stop anyone else doing dodgy stuff on my internet. I asked them for a contact number so I could ring them back, but they cut me off straight away.

Someone rang me saying they were from BT and warned that my internet would be cut off if I didn't sort something out.

I got a call from someone claiming to be B.T., threatening that my internet would get cut off. They told me to press 1 to speak to an advisor or press 2 to disconnect my service. Thing is, I’ve never had any account with B.T. so I reckon this has to be a dodgy scam. Quite worrying if you ask me.

Got a call saying they were going to cut off my internet if I didn’t pay up immediately. Proper scare tactic, wasn’t even a real provider. Felt like a total con.
