#SCAM ALERT# These fraudsters pretended to be bank representatives and managed to deceive my parents. Please, don’t trust them for a second! They’re experts at making you feel safe before stealing thousands from you. Stay well clear of anyone calling with these sorts of claims!

My mum, who’s a pensioner, got a call from a man with an Indian accent pretending to be from BT. He was asking her all sorts of personal stuff and it really upset her. This kind of thing can’t keep happening, it’s just not on! Something’s gotta be done about it!

This number keeps ringing me quite often, but since I’ve got BT Call Guardian on my phone, I’ve never actually picked up. After seeing what others are saying about it, I think I’m going to just block it for good! Cheers to everyone else who shared their experiences.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent earlier, she claimed to be from BT and was pushing some discounts. She asked for loads of personal info, which I wasn't about to share. So, I just ended the call. Also, she said she was ringing from Newgate in London.

I get calls from this number daily, saying they're from BT and trying to get me to give my bank details with promises of discounts. The funny thing is, I’m not even with BT! Seriously, does anyone actually believe this nonsense anymore?

I just blocked the number straight away. It’s funny how someone from India is ringing me up from the States trying to sell me BT deals. Makes no sense at all, do these people even think before calling?

Got a call saying they were from BT, asked me for my bank info, so I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a lady speaking with an Asian accent, asking for me by name. I replied, doing my worst posh British schoolboy voice, "I'm afraid he's no longer with us," then promptly ended the call.
