Got a call that seemed dodgy, maybe some kind of scam from the US or something? Felt a bit off to me.

I don’t think this was a call from the US. It sounds more like one of those scams with a robotic woman’s voice warning about your BT internet being cut off. The number started with '00', which probably isn’t real and was maybe just set to appear on the caller ID. If you take away the first zero, you get ‘01275’, which is the Clevedon area in Somerset. Seems odd for BT to be calling from there, so it’s obvious the number’s been faked. I got a nearly identical call from ‘01278’ too, which is Bridgwater, also in Somerset.

Got another call today from a number beginning with 001. They never gave their name on BT Call Guard. I've just blocked them now.

Got a call from another American number today, reckon it might be a scam. Hung up before I could even hear what they had to say.

Got a call around 1.20 this afternoon but I didn’t pick up since the number wasn’t familiar. Honestly, no clue who it was.
