Got a call from this number saying they were from the Microsoft Support Team, but every person I spoke to had a strong Indian accent and refused to say where they were calling from! They rang me up telling me my PC had a virus and asked me to let them take control remotely. I reckon they might even put a virus on your machine themselves before trying to sell you some useless ‘fix’. Really dodgy stuff!

Some bloke claimed to be from Microsoft, but I wasn’t convinced. He kept telling me my computer was hacked, which sounded dodgy. I told him Microsoft’s just software, why would they call me? He was pushing me to switch on my PC, but i refused. After a while, he just hung up. I told him he was probably trying to scam me, he kept pushing but I never gave in. Pretty sure it was a total rip-off attempt.
