7 yearsSome bloke rang up pretending to be from Microsoft. Told me my account got hacked and he’d help me fix it straight away on my computer. Said it was super urgent and had to be sorted immediately. He was a guy with an American accent, spoke well but got proper belligerent when I kept questioning if he was legit, probably trying to pressure me into his scam. I ended up keeping him on the phone for over five minutes. From what I’ve heard, scammers despise that kind of thing. Gotta say, it’s a great way to waste their time and wind them up.
