I got a call from these people saying they wanted my input on an accident so they could prevent any more calls about insurance claims. I told them the claim was already settled, no fault of mine, and the other driver took full responsibility, so it should be closed by now. When I asked how they planned to stop the calls, they just clammed up but then tried to tempt me by saying I 'might be able to get more compensation!' Total sales pitch disguised as something official!

i got this number about a fortnight ago and the only places ive put it on are the UK student finance government website and squarespace f###]. clearly one of these sites has a security flaw cause ive been getting calls for strangers.

I told the woman to remove my number from their system and to stop ringing me. She insisted they "couldn’t" close my case unless I answered some questions about a crash I’d supposedly been in. I replied, "So you’re saying you’ll keep bugging me with calls until I comply? I want to speak to your manager." Of course, no manager was around (surprise, surprise!). So I asked for whoever was in charge of the team, but apparently everyone was off or unavailable. I asked for her name, she said thanks, wished me a nice day, and then ended the call. Be cautious - they throw out innocent-sounding questions, but it’s all just a way to phish info for whoever’s footing the bill.

Some bloke called Nick from First Call rang me about a car crash. I told him it must be someone pretending to be me, 'cause I’m 75 and never even had a car, let alone driven one! He didn’t seem to buy it and called me a liar, but then just said goodbye. Proper annoying and daft. Watch out everyone, be careful xx

Got a call today, the person wanted to speak to Christine. I asked what it was regarding, then they said they were from ‘st call’. Asked again what it was about, and all they said was just to speak to Christine, claiming it was the first call. Christine wasn’t around, asked when she’d be back - said after 6 this evening. Told them I’d ring later. If she ever answers, I’ll tell her to ignore and block any more calls like this. Definitely a scam in my opinion.

someone rang up saying they wanted info about some 'service' related to a car crash i’d had recently. they didn’t actually know anything about me or the accident, and when i asked a few questions the woman on the phone got a bit defensive. i ended the call when she began to shout.

They kept ringing me up loads of times and when I finally picked up, they wanted to make sure it was me by saying my name. I asked who they were and which company they worked for. On the first call, she replied about that. Apparently, she was checking about a claim from last year. I told her I never had any accident, then she said I’d be taken off their system.

Got a call from a woman with what sounded like a Brummie accent claiming she was calling from First Contact about a car crash. When I asked her for more specific info like exact date, place, and which insurance company, all she could tell me was it happened in September. She was after my partner, but had the wrong phone number altogether, and was pretty unclear about everything. Funny thing is, my partner did have a car accident once, not his fault, but that was ages ago, maybe September 2012 or 2013, not recently!

I picked up the call, but as soon as they mentioned something about an accident I was involved in, I ended the call straight away. Just like others around here.

I got another annoying call from these lot asking about a car crash I’ve never been involved in. I got proper frustrated and told them they must be up to no good, trying to trick people by guessing wrongly. I asked them to take me off their calling list and the person said they would, but guess what? I’ve had another call from them again!

Got a call from this number about some no-fault accident thing. The woman on the line had a Liverpool accent and said she was from a legal firm dealing with the third party insurance. She asked if my car had been repaired alright and wanted details about the accident location and my address. I told her I couldn’t exactly recall where the accident happened and suggested she should already have my address since she called me. After that, she just cut off. When I tried ringing back, the number didn’t go through at all.

On 15th September 2016, this number rang me up. They were asking about a "no-fault" car crash, and oddly enough, they used my daughter's married name. Thing is, she hasn't lived at this address for nearly 20 years!
