Got a call I didn’t pick up for good reason. Definitely one best left unanswered.

This tech bloke kept ringing me starting around 6:42, and kept ringing every 15 to 20 minutes. Sometimes they’d hang up, sometimes they didn't. Eventually, I told them I was gonna ring the RCMP. They actually called back and told me to go ahead, so I did.

Got a call earlier that was completely silent, just like the ones people above mentioned. Pretty clear it’s one of those phishing scams trying to get info.

Got a call on my home phone but kept quiet, then the person on the other end just ended the call.

I got a call from a woman who spoke really bad English, claiming to be from BT. She said they were checking up on a problem I’d apparently reported, linked to BT engineers working nearby which might cause some router interruptions. She did know my email and my landline number, but she couldn’t answer other questions about me. When I asked where she got my number from, she just hung up. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

@ this bloke claiming to be Robert said BT had sorted a free upgrade for my router - total rubbish cos BT never hand out freebies. He was asking for loads of my info and even wanted me to log into some dodgy site on my computer. Pretty clear scam to me.

Some lady with a really weak voice called me and even messed up my name. I told her to speak louder but still couldn’t catch what she was saying. Totally sounded like a scam! Then she just hung up quick.

Got a call on our work landline from a number that looked American. The person had really bad English and claimed to be from BT Openreach, saying there was an issue with our internet. Thing is, we don’t even use BT Openreach here. Definitely sounded like a total scam to me.

got a call from someone claiming to be bt openreach, said they needed to update my router and wanted access to my pc - felt like a scam to me.

On 20th Dec, 2018, I got two silent calls, one right at midday and the other about five minutes later. I saw a previous post saying it could be one of those BT scams, you know, trying to get into your computer or something. Seems dodgy to me.
