I received a call from this number. A gentleman with a pronounced Indian accent introduced himself as being from Microsoft, claiming his name was James! I couldn't help but retort that my name's Sing, so it seems we’re both spinning yarns! Cheers to you, mate. I promptly ended the call with a chuckle. 😄

I just had a rather amusing phone call from this number, purporting to be from the Windows Service Centre. Given my background in IT, I decided to humour them for a bit. Things got interesting when they figured out I knew my stuff and then proceeded to unleash a barrage of insults. It definitely gave me a chuckle, and I managed to waste about ten minutes of their time, which hopefully spared someone else from their antics!

This number 001224555014 keeps calling me but when I pick up, they just hang up straight away. It’s happened like three times today already and I have no idea who they are or what they want. Proper strange.

Got a call from a woman using this number saying my computer had a virus and she’d fix it for free. I didn’t go along with it because it smelled like a scam. I’ve got solid antivirus installed and run full scans regularly, so I’m quite sure my system is safe. Plus, it’s hard to believe anyone could know what’s on my PC without actually getting into it - which is probably what they were after. After I hung up, they kept ringing back several times in a few hours, which just makes me more certain it’s a persistent scam. Definitely don’t fall for it!

I received a call from a woman using this number who insisted that my computer was infected with a virus and offered to resolve it at no charge. I chose not to pursue the matter further as I have a strong suspicion that this is some sort of scam. My antivirus software is top-notch, and I conduct thorough scans regularly, so I'm fairly certain I'm well protected. It seems highly improbable that anyone outside my device could know anything about my system without gaining direct access first-which is likely their ulterior motive. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR TRICKS! After I hung up, they tried to get in touch with me multiple times in just a few hours, which is yet another red flag indicating a persistent scam operation.

I received a phone call from a woman using this number who insisted that my computer was infected with a virus and she was happily offering to rectify it at no charge! I opted to hang up, as my instincts told me it reeked of a scam. I take solid precautions with my antivirus software and conduct thorough scans regularly, so I feel quite secure. Moreover, it's highly improbable that a random caller could have any insight into my computer's status without having had direct access-even that seems suspect! Just a word of caution: steer clear of their propositions. After I cut the conversation short, they called me multiple times in just a few hours, which only reinforces the idea that this is a relentless scam attempt.

Received a call earlier today purporting to be from Microsoft. Naturally, I enquired how they acquired my number since I’m registered on the Telephone Preference Service and should be exempt from such unsolicited calls. The chap, who had a strong Indian/Pakistani accent, introduced himself as 'Joe'. He insisted Microsoft had handed over my details, and I firmly responded that they certainly did not possess my information. I warned him that if he attempted to reach me again, I wouldn't hesitate to lodge a complaint. The conversation ended rather abruptly!

Claimed to be calling from Windows, but as soon as I pressed him a bit, he just cut the line. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I’d advise steering clear of this number altogether. It’s nothing but a scam, and if you dare question the caller, you’ll probably be met with some rather unpleasant language. Best to either block the number right away or consider getting a phone that allows you to easily block dodgy contacts.

I keep receiving calls every thirty minutes from this bloke insisting he wants to chat about my computer. I told him if he persists, I’d involve the authorities, and he hung up right away.

A chap rang me claiming to be from Microsoft Windows, insisting there was a file on my computer attempting to access my personal information. To add to my unease, he even had my name and address. I wasn't comfortable with the conversation and decided to end the call. Was this likely a con? What could he possibly do with the details he had?

I received a call from that number today, but I decided not to pick up since I didn't recognise it. I did a quick search online, and I'm so grateful for this site-it's absolutely fantastic!

Received a call earlier today from someone inquiring if I was aware of any dubious software I’d downloaded. He claimed to be representing Windows, but when I challenged him, pointing out that Windows doesn't actually make calls like that, he huffed about it being a pointless conversation and promptly disconnected. Quite the cheeky character, that one!

I've received a number of calls from this particular number over the past few days, but it always hangs up before we get the chance to pick up. It's rather puzzling, to be honest!

I received an utterly distressing call from a call centre in India, purportedly representing Microsoft. They were insistent on having me download certain software and became extremely aggressive and foul-mouthed when I refused their demands. As a senior citizen, I’m quite wary of such interactions, especially since I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service. It’s quite disheartening to encounter this kind of behaviour!
