Just got a call from a woman who said she’s ringing from Dubai. She was asking if I wanted to take part in the Automechanica Dubai event back in June 2019. Thing is, the phone number didn’t really look like it was from Dubai, even though she claimed she was calling from there. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I reckon some marketing firm passed on my number or something. Got this random call out of the blue, don't really know what they were after. Seemed dodgy, like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone saying they worked for a company in the UAE, but they were calling from India, even though the phone number looked like it was from the US. They told me they needed to verify my details in their system. Definitely felt like a scam.
