Without fail, this individual calls daily even after I've firmly requested them to stop. The caller is a chap with a distinctly foreign accent, and if I utter anything outside of his preferred script, he promptly hangs up.

Got a call from this number just now. Some woman with a foreign accent claimed she was from Imperial Telecom - thought for a sec she’d say it was Microsoft Security warning about my PC! She started talking about lowering my line rental and all that. I let her carry on a bit, but when she asked for my date of birth, I said no way. She asked why and I told her I’d only just started a two-year contract a few months ago. There was a pause, then she just said thanks and hung up. Pretty sure she reckoned I was wasting her time!

Just like a bunch of others, I got a call from a guy named "Matt" who spoke with a thick Asian accent. He claimed he was ringing from Imperial Telecom, saying they'd cut my monthly bill. Since I don't have any deal with them, I told him I thought it was dodgy. Then he just ended the call.

Got a call from this number the other day, some woman speaking with a thick Mumbai accent claiming she's from Imperial Telecom offering some "special deal". These folks from this line just won't give up, no matter how nice or straight up I get with them. It’s like they’ve got monsoon madness messing with their heads or something. Next time I hear from them, I’m asking if they’ve finally made it back to Kampithura or not!

Had another one of those annoying calls today from some telemarketer that just hangs up the moment I pick up. It’s the third time this bloody day! Honestly, when is there gonna be some proper law to put an end to this nonstop harassment?

A bloke with a thick Indian accent rang me up, going on and on about how my line rental and call fees could supposedly be lowered. They had my address, DOB, and even knew which country I’d been texting, but I didn’t give away any new info. When they put me through to a woman for "verification," I asked why they hadn’t just sent all that info in writing. Eventually, they admitted they weren’t actually from BT. I told them I thought the whole thing was a scam and hung up.

When I double-checked who she was with, she insisted it was "Imperial Telecom" - which I googled and it does seem to be a real company. I told her I had no contract or anything with them, so it felt like just one of those annoying spam calls. Then she just ended the call.

I got a call from a woman claiming to work for some kind of call blocking company. She somehow already had some of my info and wanted me to verify my debit card details, specifically the 3 digit code on the back, supposedly to add it to some security list. I didn't buy it and just told her no before cutting the call. They rang again a bit later, but I just ended the call straight away.

When I informed him that I considered his call to be an unsolicited marketing attempt and therefore illegal, he quickly apologised and cut the line.
