This is the second time I’ve received a call from this number, and I also know a couple of others who’ve been contacted by them. They say they’re from BT. The first time, it was something about suspicious activity on my broadband line that could be a security threat. The latest call was about my router being outdated. When I asked them to confirm their number, they just ended the call. It’s definitely a scam since one person they rang doesn’t even have internet service. They come across as pushy and warn about losing broadband access if you don’t comply.

They keep ringing and saying they’re from British Telecom, but it’s just another scam. Absolute time wasters who won’t leave me alone!

For the past couple of days, this number kept ringing me but always ended up hanging up as soon as my voicemail kicked in. After checking out what others had to say about it, I figured it was best to just block them.

Somebody rang me saying they were from BT and told me my internet would be cut off if I didn’t log into my router and follow their instructions. I said I’d phone back later, and they started getting quite pushy, warning me not to hang up or they’d disconnect me straight away. I ended up ringing BT myself and they confirmed it was a fraud call.

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT Openreach about my internet. I asked a few questions and before I could say more, they just cut the call!

I got a call saying they were from BT broadband, warning me my phone would be cut off in 24 hours because of some fraud. I questioned the guy about it and then he just ended the call.
