Got a call from this number earlier. I saw it was familiar and didn’t bother picking up, just blocked it straight away. Tried reporting to Action Fraud before but honestly, they never seem interested in sorting anything out.

Got a call today claiming my phone line was at risk and to hit 1 to chat with a BT engineer. Thing is, I'm with a different company, so why would BT be phoning me? Best to just ignore these calls.

Got a voicemail supposedly from BT warning that my PC was compromised! The caller said they were from BT but the number showed it was from the States. Yeah right, I doubt it!

I keep getting calls from people claiming to be BT engineers about some problem with my internet. Why doesn’t BT stop these scammers using their name? They already charge way too much! And get this, the call was apparently from the US?? Weird or what?

Got a call earlier today, they left a voicemail claiming my phone line was hacked and told me to press 1 to talk to a BT engineer. Of course, I ignored it because scams are everywhere nowadays. Plus, I’m with TalkTalk, so why would BT be calling me? Also, it said the call came from the US, which makes no sense at all.
