I’ve tried blocking the number but somehow they keep getting through by hiding their caller ID. They also bombard me with emails every day. It’s all just spam and annoying cold calls. The number shows up as if it’s from Birmingham, but it’s actually Birmingham, Alabama in the States. Would definitely stay clear of these scammers.

I signed up for a legit service called GetEmail.io, mainly for their free plan. During registration, they require your mobile to confirm you’re a real person and to keep bots away. They assured me the number would only be used for verification purposes. But after about three weeks, I started getting sales calls from them! Not impressed at all. I’ve blocked their number now.

It seems like the person calling is in a moving car or something, coz the voice is really hard to make out. Kinda sounds Indian, but not sure. They’ve tried ringing a couple of times now, but I just ignore it - feels a bit suspicious to me!

Kreeg een voicemail van dit nummer, volgens de boodschap was het een vrouw die zich voorstelde als Tracy van een of ander bedrijf (kon de naam slecht verstaan). Ze vroeg om snel teruggebeld te worden naar een Amerikaans nummer. Vraag me af wat dat me gaat kosten? Klinkt allemaal heel shady en onbetrouwbaar.

I let the call drop to voicemail and when I listened back, it was some bloke claiming to be the account manager for "getemail," asking me to ring him back. I've received emails from getemail too, and they use the same US number but strangely, they give a French address. I'd avoid it just to be on the safe side!

Feels like they might be calling people whose info their bots have grabbed. Honestly, they don't come across as very polished or professional.

All i could hear was some buzzing noise, the mic must have been rubbish, and mumbling like people talking faintly in the background. Probably one of those call centre things. Might be some sort of scam, hard to tell for sure. What annoys me is they rang me like 3 times back to back. My phone says the number's from Alabama or somewhere thereabouts.
