Like others, I got a recorded voice warning me about supposed legal trouble from HMRC.

I got a call supposedly from an Officer Lisa Williams claiming to be with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, warning me about legal trouble. Turns out it’s a total scam. The message was all pre-recorded and didn’t even use my name or anything personal. Just thought I’d warn others about this one - it’s a scam coming out of the US. And definitely don’t call the number back, it’ll probably charge you loads.

Yeah, it's definitely one of those scams pretending to be from HM Revenue. They try to scare you into thinking there's legal action against you, but it’s all fake. Don’t fall for it!
