Got one of those annoying automated calls saying they’d debited my bank for an Amazon Prime renewal, which I never signed up for. Then they tried to get me to hand over my bank info to “refund” the supposed charge - classic scam to either steal your money or flush your account. It’s always the same trick, hoping to catch people out who aren’t careful. But honestly, does anyone actually stop these scammers? Feels like they get away with it every time.
