Had a break over Christmas from these calls, but they’ve kicked off again already. I've been getting calls all day, starting early morning around 8:15 right up until past 6 in the evening. They keep saying my BT internet (which I don’t even have!) is going to be disconnected. Today’s call was even worse - the caller kept their number hidden. Honestly, it’s really irritating and drives me mad!

Got calls with automated voices claiming they’re from BT but it’s a total scam, don’t press any buttons if you get one. I rang BT and they warned me pressing anything could end up costing me £300! They’ve blocked loads of these numbers but somehow some still manage to come through. Stay careful!

Got a recorded message from an American lady saying my BT internet was gonna be cut off today and to press "!" to sort it out. Problem is, while my phone line is BT, my internet runs through Virgin Media’s fibre optic service. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

This week I've been getting loads of calls from all kinds of foreign numbers. Just today, there was one from a number that showed up as "unavailable" and there’s no way to block it. Really annoying!

Been six months now and BT still hasn’t cut my internet off, if they want to just pull the plug, go ahead with it already, useless lot!

They've just rang me twice already today, argh. Like the other post said, it was this automated woman speaking with an American accent, saying she was from BT and warning my internet would be disconnected this afternoon. She told me to press one to find out more. Clearly a dodgy phishing attempt, but I reckon some poor folks might actually buy into it, sadly.

Just got a call a couple of minutes ago but thankfully Call Defender stopped it. After seeing what others said, I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

I got a call from abroad but no voicemail was left. Reading what others said helped a lot. I’m going to block this number now.

Got a call from some American sounding voice pretending to be BT, saying my internet was about to be disconnected. They told me to press 1 to avoid being cut off. I just ended the call straight away and blocked the number using BT call protect.

In just 30 minutes, I've gotten four calls all saying my internet will be cut off. It’s some sort of recorded message or something. Really annoying.

Got a call from some fake American robot telling me my internet was going to be disconnected soon and to hit 1 for details. I just ended the call straight away.
