A bloke from BT Technical Services rang me about some problems with my phone line. When I mentioned he’d actually rung the Serious Fraud Office, he immediately said sorry and ended the call.

Samuel Johnson called me supposedly about his dictionary progress - HO! HO! HO! Then some bloke pretended to be from BT about my broadband. I laughed and said the person he wanted wasn’t here, and he straight away threatened to turn off my broadband if I wasn’t truthful. Then he just hung up. Bit disappointing really, I was hoping for a laugh and he was actually right about the person not being there.

Got a call from 001102933591083 where some woman with a strong accent said my computer had a virus, claiming to be from WINDOWS. As soon as I told her it was a scam, she just ended the call straight away.
