Got a call earlier today from a woman with an accent, wanted to chat with the former owner of the business (she even used his name, bit creepy how easy it was to find out). I asked her straight up where she was calling from. Said it was about sorting out our utilities and payment stuff. I told her firmly not to bother calling back and mentioned that under the Data Protection Act, I could have my number removed from their list. She just kept going on and on, so I just ended the call.
