In line with a previous message, I recently received a call from an unfamiliar number. Upon answering, the person on the other end mentioned that they were conducting a general survey. Interestingly, they did not inquire about my name but instead hastily mentioned that they were calling from a research firm named 'ADP Search' (if I remember correctly). Apparently, their inquiry had something to do with the election. Specifically, they wanted to know if I was registered to vote at my current address. Caught off guard, I responded with a nonchalant "right," after which the caller quickly stated that they were experiencing some phone difficulties and abruptly ended the call. Frankly, I am perplexed about the purpose of this interaction.
