A couple days back, I got a call from a man with an Indian accent who started asking me questions like how old I am, who I live with, and if I’m married.

Today I got two calls from this number, so I asked them to take me off their list. They said they’d take me out of their database, but I told them I want to be removed entirely. The bloke said he was new and wasn’t paid to delete numbers and didn’t know how to do it. I told him he’s just getting paid to scam people, then I ended the call. Honestly, sounded like a total shambles to me.

Got a call today from some bloke asking for my mum, which was odd since my parents have been divorced for over seven years and we don’t even share the same last name - I took my dad’s. The guy, with what sounded like an Indian accent, kept pressing, asking for ‘Mrs Harnwell’. I told him that wasn’t me, but he kept asking about family members. When I said I was the person he wanted, he asked who I actually was. That’s when I just ended the call. Honestly, it felt a bit fishy to me. Definitely didn’t want to get involved.

Today I got a call from these guys, and it felt a bit off. They kept asking a bunch of questions, and before I even realised, I’d already told them I’m in my twenties and about my relationship status. Once I caught on that I was probably just feeding them loads of rubbish info, I got really uneasy. Honestly, I don’t know what to do next but PLEASE don’t pick up if they call you - it just seems really sketchy.

Today I got calls twice from a bloke claiming to be from "Choose Lifestyle." He was Indian and somehow already knew my full name and where I live. He asked if I could spare a minute for an "opinion survey," but I wasn’t having any of it. I ended the call straight away. Seems dodgy to me, so I wouldn’t share anything with them. Everyone should just hang up, looks pretty fishy.

This number kept ringing non stop and when I finally picked up, the person was hitting me with question after question - stuff like my address, DOB, do I have a mortgage, credit cards, if I go on holiday. I gave them nonsense answers cos I reckoned it was a scam trying to phish personal details. Took about 5 minutes before they gave up. If this number calls, don’t bother giving out any real info - feels like they’re fishing for passwords or something dodgy.

Got a call from a woman, she sounded like she might be Indian or West African, but I couldn’t really catch what she was saying. She kept asking if I was so-and-so, and if I lived at a certain address. When I asked where she was calling from, she just cut off straight away. I’m a bit concerned this might be some sort of identity theft scam since she already had my name, number, and address! I’m thinking of telling the police about it.

Got a call from an Indian guy who said his name was Shaun or maybe Sean. I didn’t know the number so I asked who he was, but he just dropped the call straight away. Funny thing, the day before, an Indian lady named Annie rang from the same number. Better to just not bother picking up if this number shows again.

i got a call from a woman who said she wasn’t trying to sell anything, just doing a survey. when i asked how she got my number, she just told me to “buzz off” and then she hung up. seemed dodgy to me. what threw me off was that she actually knew my name. she’s called back a few times too, really won’t take no for an answer. definitely felt like some kind of scam.
