It started with a recorded message telling me someone had charged about £300 on my Visa through Amazon, plus another charge from some other company I couldn’t catch. Then it gave two choices, but the first option was barely understandable, while the second was to speak to an agent. I chose to talk to someone, but the guy on the line wasn’t much help and hung up right after. I rang 1471 straight away to find out the number that called me.
