A bloke rang up claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying there was an issue with my internet. He wanted me to log into my computer so he could "sort it out". He came across really forceful, and I soon guessed it was a con. So, I just ended the call.

I got a call from someone saying she was "Cynthia" and said she was from Talk Talk. She told me to type an ID code into my computer, claiming that someone had been accessing my IP from elsewhere. The strange thing was, she already had my Talk Talk address and account details. I told her I'd need to check with my husband first and asked her to ring back the next day. After that, I contacted Talk Talk directly to report it. If you ever get anything similar, give Talk Talk a ring on 0800 083 2710 and let them know.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Talk Talk, saying there was an issue with my internet connection. They insisted I needed a service visit and that it would come with a charge. Then they tried to get my credit card details - I just ended the call straight away.
