Phone number ☎️ 00016469802493 👆 is reported as a sophisticated share buyout scam targeting individuals with accurate personal and shareholding information. Callers, often with an American accent, present unrealistically high offers for shares in major companies and pressure recipients to sign non-disclosure agreements or provide contact details via email or fax. The operation appears well-informed yet elusive, refusing to disclose key details and withdrawing as soon as the legitimacy of the offer is questioned. Multiple attempts are made, including calls to deceased individuals or their relatives, signalling a lack of ethical boundaries. Recipients are advised to exercise extreme caution, avoid sharing personal information, and verify any unexpected share-related propositions with official financial institutions before engaging.

5 yearsGot a call from a woman with an American accent, who seemed to know about shares in Rolls Royce I once had. She said I’d got some bonus shares coming and that some company hostile bidding for Rolls was offering to buy them for between £7 and £15 each, but I had to act quickly. Apparently I needed to email their legal team and sign a confidentiality agreement. Pretty obvious it was a scam from the start.Rolls RoyceRolls5 yearsThey seemed to know exactly which shares I owned, including my name and address, though they didn’t mention that I’d already passed away. They asked for my email or fax number, but really wanted to send the paperwork through the post. Makes me wonder how they got hold of all that info.5 yearsFollowing up on my message from yesterday about a call for my late husband. Got a ring yesterday from someone about Legal General, the woman asked when my husband would be home so we arranged the same time today. They called again twice today from a number that seems uncontactable, but no message left. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.5 yearsGot a call from a woman in the US wanting to talk to my husband about selling some shares he supposedly owns with Legal & General. She did have the correct name, but he passed away 4 years back. She’s planning to ring again tomorrow around the same time, but I won’t be picking up then.AmericaLegal & General5 yearsGot a call from some unknown firm trying to buy my shares in Rolls Royce plc. The woman on the phone had an american accent and kept pushing me to sell my stake. The price she offered was way too good to be legit, which made me think it was probably a scam. Her persistence really set alarm bells ringing!Rolls Royce plc5 yearsI got a call about purchasing shares in GSK just before they were supposedly going to do a takeover. When I asked for more details, they said they couldn't share anything until the takeover was official! Some of the stuff they mentioned seemed kinda accurate though. I told them to contact Equinity, and then they just cut the call. Definitely seems like a share scheme scam.GSKEquinity5 yearsI got a suspicious call from someone saying they wanted me to buy an extra 10% shares to help with a hostile takeover of a big company. As soon as I mentioned the current share price and how they were trying to sell me at a lower rate, they ended the call really quick. Felt like a total scam.5 yearsGot four calls from this number, and twice when I answered, there was some kind of classical music playing on the answering machine.
