This number has called over 7000 times this year, so I'm guessing they’re trying to rip someone off big time? Just tell whoever it is “Your calls are being monitored by the police, please wait.” Then chuck your phone under a pillow or just hang up. Definitely don’t call them back.

I recently received a call from this number, purporting to be from Microsoft. When I inquired about the name of the person on the other end, he flatly refused to provide it! To my astonishment, he then resorted to quite foul language, which was outrageously offensive.

Got a call from this number earlier, someone claimed to be from Microsoft about my computer. I told them I didn’t own a computer, then when they asked about a laptop, I said I didn’t have one of those either. They hung up pretty quick after that.

Yep, they're doing it again. Got two calls last week and another one today. At about 11:23 I answered with a hello, hello, and then I heard them hanging up! Reading all the comments here, what a load of muppets! Could have said more but they just buggered off. I reckon they even read these reviews, wouldn’t surprise me at all. Proper sad that it’s like this.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming there was something wrong with my computer. I was like, oh here we go again, but let him carry on cause I was kinda in the mood for a bit of banter. Then this cheeky bloke starts chatting to someone else in what sounded like Bangladesh in the background, and just hung up on me! I've had loads of calls doing the same spiel. Once I said I didn’t even own a computer and the caller accused me of lying - well, I was fibbing, but he didn't need to know that!

Got a call from this number, some bloke pretending to be from Microsoft. Asked if I owned my computer, then told me to switch it on. I said it already was, then he got rude real quick. When I wouldn’t play along, he started shouting horrible things, even called me a mother f###er. Total scam for sure. Said his name was James, sounded like he had an Indian/Pakistani accent - can’t really tell the difference anyway.

Got a call at 13:25 today from a guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft Corporation. I told him Microsoft never calls random people, but he insisted his department was allowed to. I just hung up and let him ramble for a bit, then told him again that Microsoft doesn’t ring people. He tried to argue again, so I said I’d pass the call to my brother who’s a policeman (which isn’t true) and he quickly ended the call.

Had a rather dodgy call come through from a chap named David, who sounded as if he’d just slipped off the boat from Asia. I mean, honestly, does he really think I’m that gullible? He claimed to be ringing about my computer - classic scam alert! My mate had already fallen for his spiel just a week prior. The trick is to give you instructions to gain access to your computer, and then, lo and behold, he starts demanding your card information to fix a so-called issue he’s just 'discovered!' Take it from me, this is a load of rubbish! Either ignore the call altogether or just hang up sharpish!

Got a call from an Asian guy named David, acting like I’m daft. Said there was a problem with my computer and tried to get me to let him have control. Luckily I’d heard about this scam from a mate he was targeting last week. The whole spiel is just to fish for your bank info! He keeps ringing though, gotta give him credit for persistence but zero for thinking I’d fall for it!

Yesterday, I received a rather peculiar telephone call from a gentleman of Asian descent. He claimed to be reaching out regarding my computer, to which I promptly informed him that I don’t own one. Undeterred, he proceeded to ask about my laptop, and again I had to clarify that I’m without such a device. His next question, "So what do you use then?" caught me a tad off-guard, and my cheeky response was, “Oh, just my finger and a vibrator!” At that point, the line went dead-can't say I expect a follow-up anytime soon! It does make a person wonder, though, how on earth they manage to get hold of our contact details in the first place!

I received a phone call purportedly from Microsoft, claiming that my computer had been compromised. The chap on the line insisted that I should switch my device on right away. When I pressed him for some proof of their legitimacy, he mentioned some sort of reference number, but honestly, the call quality was dreadful. I decided to end the conversation, but he kept ringing back multiple times. I chose to ignore him each time. Honestly, it made me quite anxious. What a nuisance!

I received a rather distressing call from a chap named John, who was speaking with a thick accent and claiming to represent Microsoft. When I pointed out that Microsoft typically doesn't reach out to customers via phone, his tone shifted dramatically. He became quite aggressive, hurling insults and telling me to "p*** off" over and over. To say I was taken aback would be an understatement! Really not impressed with this experience!

I received a rather suspicious phone call from a gentleman named Kevin, who had quite the Asian accent. He claimed to be representing Microsoft and wanted to know if I was the sole user of my computer. Apparently, he asserted that my device had been compromised with viruses. When I inquired whether he could resolve the issue, he confidently replied that he could instruct me on the necessary steps. But honestly, when he seemed to think I was gullible enough to fall for that, I decided to cut him off mid-sentence. I subsequently blocked the number, although I have no doubt they’ve got a plethora of different digits up their sleeve to try again.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was with Microsoft. I was getting loads of calls like this last year. Just yesterday, I had a call from a blocked number where the person said they were from TalkTalk and wanted me to download some software. The person on the phone said his name was 'David' and claimed he was ringing from 'Microsoft Corporation' in 'London'. He told me hackers had got into my computer and infected it with viruses and that I had to turn on my computer so he could ‘fix’ it remotely. Yeah right, 'David'. Nice try. You’re not really 'David', you’re not calling from London, and I’m not daft. Added you straight to my block list.

I had a rather amusing encounter earlier! A rather charming foreign gentleman rang me up, cheerfully inquiring, "How do you do? Am I fortunate enough to be speaking with the primary user of the computer?" To which I replied, "I don't own a computer." He then insisted, "Ah, so you're on a laptop, then?" And I said, "Nope!" At that point, he decided to end the call abruptly. Quite the experience, wasn't it?

I've been bombarded with a slew of phone calls lately, most of them either eerily quiet or purporting to be from Microsoft, saying my computer's been compromised. The callers always choose incredibly common UK names like Samuel Smith or Adam White, but their accents are so thick, it’s hard to follow. It's utterly infuriating-their incessant ringing at all hours has me feeling quite frazzled. Alongside these nuisance calls, I've got the insulation grant recordings adding to the madness. Honestly, I thought being on the telephone preference service would help, but it seems to have no effect whatsoever!

I recently received a phone call from this number, where a woman insisted that my computer had been compromised. Upon mentioning that we had an IT technician present, her response took a nasty turn; she told me to be quiet and rudely told me to bog off simply because I’m a woman. Consider investing in a phone equipped with call-blocking features. They're quite affordable and work brilliantly, provided the caller doesn't have their number hidden. Brands like Panasonic and BT offer some good options for this.

I tend to get frequent calls from this number. At times it’s just silence on the line, while at other points, it’s someone purporting to work for the Windows Technical Support team, insisting that there’s an issue with my computer! I'm left wondering if there's any value in reporting these calls, as it seems no one takes action. Is it possible that the phone network providers are raking in profits from these dodgy calls? I really shouldn’t think that way, should I?

After probably 10 mins, she got annoyed, started swearing and said she’d lock my computer as a threat. Definitely a scammer!

Got a call from 0001222330131 at 12:20 today. Same old scam stuff about Microsoft, Windows and viruses. It’s a waste of time I know but I asked the guy, who had an Asian accent, why he couldnt find a real job and if he had any shame. Made me feel a bit better at least. Afterwards I reported it to the Action Fraud Line.

This kind of scam call is pretty common - they pretend to be from Microsoft support and all that. When I asked if he really thought I was that gullible, he just shouted 'you w#nk#r, f#ck off' and slammed the phone down!

Just received a call from this number a mere 7 minutes back. They've been ringing me quite frequently in the past, but more often than not, it’s just silence on the other end. It's really rather irritating, to be honest.

Just received a call a short while ago from someone inquiring about a family member. When I informed him that they weren't available, the gentleman, who had a noticeable Asian lilt to his voice, aggressively retorted, "then who the bloody hell are you, madam?" I was quite taken aback by such rudeness and firmly told him that swearing at me was unacceptable. I then decided to hang up and stepped away from the phone. It's rather disheartening, as this isn't the first encounter of this nature-previously, a woman had accused me of being dishonest and was utterly confrontational. It’s high time these pesky calls were put to an end!

Isn’t it frustrating that these issues keep cropping up? It’s incredibly disheartening for those affected. You’d think that with all the technology we have nowadays, there would be a way to put an end to it all. Surely, there must be some sort of solution available!

This number has called me repeatedly, and whenever I answer, there's silence on the line, leading to them hanging up after a handful of seconds. It’s quite annoying, especially since they always seem to ring at the most inconvenient moments. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can put an end to these bothersome calls?

Got a call today, 9th April, around 10.22 from 000122 233031. It was a man with an Indian accent, hard to catch what he was saying. Mentioned something about Microsoft, I think. Asked him why he was bothering me and wasting my time. Then he shouted something like "I will ### you" and just hung up.

i just answered then put the phone down and carried on with my stuff. they might have all the time in the world to talk about these so-called hackers, but i really dont. if more folks did this, they’d probably lose more money on calls than what they manage to scam.

Upon hearing a cheery "Good afternoon, guv'nor!" delivered in a cheeky pidgin accent, you can bet your bottom dollar things are about to take a turn for the worse. The moment he claims to be affiliated with Microsoft, you instinctively realise it’s all a ruse. When he tells you there’s likely some perilous malware lurking on your device, it becomes clear that the odds are stacked in your favour, and your computer is probably just fine. As soon as he promises he can sort it out for you, it’s blindingly obvious he’s more interested in planting some dodgy software instead. And when you dare to ask for your money back because, let’s face it, Windows 10 is absolute rubbish, he simply cuts you off. Such is life, eh?

Got a call from this number early this morning around 8am, some foreign bloke shouting about an emergency and that my computer was hacked. I told him straight to jog on, but he kept on with his nonsense. I repeated myself in a different language, which finally made him stop, then he just hung up.

Received a call from a rather chipper gentleman who introduced himself as David, purporting to be from Microsoft Windows. He claimed that there was an attempt to breach my computer's security and asked if it was powered up, among other things. I thought it best to reply with a quick 'just a moment', then decided to have a bit of fun and kept him waiting on the line until he eventually gave up and hung up on me. This sort of nonsense usually follows a barrage of silent calls that plague me daily.

Got a call at 13:57 on 16/03/16 from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from 'Microsoft Service', saying my computer was hacked according to their system. I told her I knew it was a scam straight away. She got a bit annoyed and ended the call. I don't understand how this number and their scam haven’t been shut down yet?

0001222330131 The second the bloke with a foreign voice said 'Windows', I switched to my 'doddery old lady with a thick Yorkshire twang' and started chatting about my brilliant double glazing. I let him go on about 'infected windows' for a bit, then told him how I keep my windows clean, though the bathroom one’s a bit tricky to get at. I even asked if he fancied popping round to help me clean it. The moment he said 'Computer', I told him I didn't own one. Click!!! Not had a peep from them after that.

I've had quite a few calls throughout February. The most recent one was on the 18th of February, 2016, at precisely 14:03 GMT. I've figured out that it’s best to just disregard them, as they always claim to assist with my Windows computer issues - funny thing is, we only use Apple products!

I keep getting these calls in the morning, usually around eight, from people claiming to be with Windows' technical support. The script sounds all too familiar, always yapping on about some sort of issue with my computer. When I tell them I reckon it’s a scam, they feign shock and offend, then promptly drop the call! It happens several times a week, and it’s becoming rather tiresome!

I've been getting loads of calls from this number lately. Because of all the "auto marketing messages" going around, I wait for the caller to say something first. But with this number, they never speak - just silence, then the call ends on their side after a bit. After looking it up here, I've gone ahead and blocked this number on my phone.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Microsoft, but she was so quiet I could barely hear her. When I asked her to repeat herself, she got all annoyed. She told me to turn on my computer that supposedly has Microsoft on it. I asked how she knew I had a Microsoft computer, and she said she could check since I have a licensed copy. I said my computer was already turned on, and she asked me what I was seeing. I replied, "that's really none of your business," and then she just told me to "get lost" and hung up. Proper rubbish scam if you ask me.
