I received two calls from this number within just thirty minutes. Each time I picked up and said hello, they promptly hung up. Quite peculiar, isn't it?

Today, this number kept calling us loads of times - some from international codes, some withheld, even one from 00124420345. We’d already told BT about a problem on our line, and when we checked, they said their security team was looking into it because two different callers had phoned. They were really stubborn, even ringing again after I ended the call! Super pushy and rude, they wouldn’t take no for an answer. One kept saying, “Madam, please go to your computer now, it’s urgent, we’re picking up serious distress signals.” Total scam, don’t fall for it!

I just received a call from the number '00000000000000'. As we were midway down the staircase, we couldn't pick up. After dialling 1471, it revealed this peculiar string of zeros as the caller ID. Any idea who might be behind this?

I've been receiving calls from a string of numbers solely made up of zeros over the last few days, typically two or three times each day. To be honest, we’ve been ignoring them for the most part. However, I did answer one time for just a couple of seconds, and there was nothing on the other end-felt like I was about to get blasted with a pre-recorded message. I plan to touch base with Verizon in the morning, though I doubt it'll lead to any helpful information.

I’ve had yet another phone call claiming there’s an issue with my internet. Total scam! I decided to activate my personal alarm, and it’s absolutely deafening! I doubt they’ll be ringing me back anytime soon! 😂

I got a call from this lady with a really thick accent who said she was from BT. She was a bit all over the place and kept saying there was something wrong with my internet, maybe a speed issue or something. I told her I wasn't having any issues at all, then she just hung up on me straight away.

Got a call around 4pm from someone saying our laptop had been hacked or something, but as soon as I told them we don’t own a laptop, they just dropped the call. Funny enough, they also rang last week while my grandparent was looking after the kids. Seems dodgy.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, tried to trick me into letting them access my computer. Felt really dodgy so I just hung up straight away. Wouldn’t trust those calls for a second!

I received a call from this number at around 3:10 PM on Friday, 3rd December 2010. The voice on the other end was American and they were keen to speak with 'the lady of the house’. They went on to inquire about our home insulation. Once we mentioned that we had everything sorted out, she just wouldn’t take the hint! Eventually, we told her we weren't going to share any information and hung up the ‘phone.

It seems the incessant calls have resumed after just a short hiatus! Earlier on, I received a peculiar call from the number 0000000000000000. My partner answered it, and a foreign-sounding individual claimed we were entitled to some grants for our residence. They insisted these grants were complimentary and asked if we were aware of them. When my partner pressed for the caller's identity, they didn't provide any details and just kept rambling about the so-called grants. In the end, my husband decided to hang up. Cheers, Ann.

I’ve received countless calls from this number, claiming to represent a government department-though they conveniently omitted which one. In reality, it’s a debt management outfit, promising they could wipe out any interest I owe. I played along with them for a bit, but as soon as I mentioned that we were capable of handling our debts ourselves, their enthusiasm vanished, and they promptly stopped calling. Quite the letdown, really!

I had a remarkably similar encounter to what ‘Rog’ described back on 27th March 2009. I reached out to ATT to flag this issue, yet they seemed completely unaware. It’s been a persistent nuisance, ringing two to three times daily, yet not a single message left. On one occasion, we actually answered, but the line was silent - I reckon we only held it for a mere four seconds! Quite the puzzling situation, to say the least.

Blimey, these calls have started up again just after a brief lull! This morning, I answered a call from this peculiar number - all zeros, mind you! My partner picked it up and a voice that sounded abroad chirped up, claiming I was eligible for some supposed grants for our home. Apparently, they were free! When my partner asked who she was, she went entirely silent and the bloke on the line just carried on waffling about these grants. In the end, my husband had enough and just hung up. Cheers, Ann.
