I just received a rather odd phone call from a number that showed up as 000000. The caller claimed to be from a legal courier service and insisted they required two forms of identification and a signature to deliver some legal documents to me. It felt a bit like being formally served, to be honest!

I recently received a call from this number, promptly dismissed it, and then added it to my block list.

Got a call from +000000, quite a strange number. I never pick up calls from unknown numbers. Looked it up on here and it turns out it’s a blocked one.

+0000 and 000000000 Honestly, can anyone explain who’d pick up calls from these kinds of numbers and why on earth? If you get calls from a number that’s NOT saved in your contacts, common sense should tell you to just let it go to voicemail. Otherwise they just keep bugging you nonstop! If everyone simply ignored these calls, eventually they’d just give up! Yet, I see loads of folks here moaning about how often they get ringed and then choose to answer. These are nothing but nuisance calls and could be risky. SMH

They rang me today, I picked up but no one said anything, just silence and then they ended the call. Proper annoying, so I've blocked the number now.

Reported them to the coppers! Properly shook me up! Honestly, people should really get a BT call blocker or blast Land of Hope and Glory so loud it fries their eardrums. They rang me at 7 in the evening yesterday and I belted out God Save the Queen till they gave up and hung up. Maybe they could use some foreign aid to bail out their dodgy operation. I attempted to call the number back, but it was as if the line had vanished into thin air. What on earth is going on? It’s rather frustrating dealing with this nonsense, and I can't help but feel let down by both my mobile provider and the authorities for allowing such disturbances to continue unabated.

Why do people even pick up when a number like this shows up? It’s clear it ain’t a real number and probably some sort of scam. Best just to block it right away.

I received a call at 18:13 this afternoon. It had one of those numbers starting with an 'a+', similar to what others have mentioned. I chose to ignore it, as it seemed rather fishy.

I answered and all I could hear was weird background sounds, like someone had a telly on loud. Then whoever it was just ended the call without saying a word.

My phone rings, I pick up and as soon as I do, they just disconnect!

Keeps ringing my landline but when I pick up, there's just silence and then they cut off - really annoying and stressful.

They rang me but never said a word, left no message and just ended the call.

This number keeps blowing up my phone, and I can’t seem to block it using caller protect.

In just the past three days, I've been inundated with a staggering 27 calls from numbers that start with "+", including a series of zeros like 00000 and others like 0000000000. Despite blocking these strange digits, I've now started receiving an array of different numbers that also begin with "+". I've taken the step of blocking all calls that start with this symbol, along with any private numbers. What could possibly be their aim? Am I at risk of having my phone compromised? What further actions should I consider? Should this issue be reported to the police?

The Truecaller app suggests this number is hailing from New Orleans. I’ve not picked up and don’t plan to, yet they persistently ring me twice daily for more than a month now. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

I received a call where the individual insisted on verifying our address prior to engaging in conversation. They claimed to be representing 1st Point Resources based in Greensboro, North Carolina.

They keep ringing me even tho I told them to put a note saying I dont wanna be called, but I dont think they actually listen coz they just keep jabbering away.

I've received multiple calls from this number, but each time I pick up, there's nobody there. It rings, then abruptly cuts off after a moment. Quite peculiar, really!

Received a call from a number that just showed up as 000000. The lass on the line simply kept repeating "Smoke in House" twice before abruptly disconnecting. It left me rather unsettled, and I had to ring 999 just to verify that our abode wasn’t ablaze! What a puzzling experience!

This number has been ringing me about five times a day! I've spotted it mentioned on this site, and thankfully I have caller ID, so I won't be answering. Seriously, do these people not have better things to occupy their time?

Exercise caution with this number. There have been whispers of various scams making the rounds, and we suspect this could be one of the culprits.

They keep phoning me incessantly, and when I tell them to knock it off, that chap with the Indian accent says he’ll dial my number every single minute, every hour of the day!

Engaging in a telephone conversation with a mate truly allows for a deeper connection with them, surpassing any other mode of communication that’s readily available to us, aside from chatting in person. I reckon it’s akin to what some might term a spiritual exercise known as Hospitality, a concept I hold in high regard and incorporate into my life regularly.
